We Won At The B&LLAs!

We are beyond thrilled to have won the ‘Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand Award’ at the 2020 Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards!
After a complete whirlwind of a year – through each ‘pinch me’ moment, through every twist and turn, through all the ups and downs – we are absolutely over the moon to have been recognised and honoured in this way for the second time in three years. We won the same award in 2018 when Sara was 5 months pregnant with her first child. Now pregnant again, Sara’s husband Phil says we may need to keep getting pregnant to keep winning this award!!
It might not seem like it sometimes, but we’re still a small business; the brand celebrates its fifth birthday in January 2021 and has snowballed into a whole host of product categories sold all over the world – from luggage to tableware, jewellery to bedding. Never did we expect to win such a prestigious award twice in such a short space of time. What a crazy journey it’s been.
Due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the 2020 Brand & Lifestyle Licensing Awards were held virtually on Monday, 9th November. The ceremony kicked off with an inspirational talk from Nadiya Hussain as she shared her journey from amateur baker to the development of her very own licensing programme, whilst the iconic Alan Dedicoat (voice of the National Lottery –and Strictly!) acted as the voiceover as the winners were announced. You just have to take a look at the sheer talent in this category to fully appreciate what this means!
Upon winning the award, Sara said:
“I’m shocked, overwhelmed and totally honoured to have WON none other than ‘Best Fashion or Talent Brand’ at the B&LLA awards! Never in my wildest dreams did I think we would win this for a second time in 3 years! It’s absolute madness to think that only 5 years ago I was busy finalising our greeting card designs ready for our launch. So much has happened since then and I am eternally grateful to everyone who has supported us on this whirlwind of a journey. And to everyone who voted for us, THANK YOU!” – Sara Miller
And, on top of this, we are beyond honoured and excited to have also won ‘Best Beauty Range’ for our vibrant Tahiti collection with Heathcote and Ivory! From our stunning cosmetic bags to our indulgent hand cream – it’s safe to say this range has all your self-care needs covered.
Once again, a massive thank you so much to everyone who has voted for us and who has supported us. After such a tough year for all of us in 2020, it’s a super lovely pick-me-up and reminder how much I love what I do. Thank you again to everyone who voted for us & who has supported us along this mad, crazy journey - we couldn't do it without you!

Hello! I’m Sara Miller, Creative Director and founder of Sara Miller London. I have over 10 years of experience working as a designer in the greeting card industry and decided a few years ago to take the plunge and set up on my own. Needless to say, it’s been an absolute whirlwind of a journey. With nearly 1000 products since our launch in Jan 2016 and numerous award wins (most recently winning the prestigious Best Licensed Fashion or Talent Brand for the third time in five years! Even going head-to-head with Becks) I still have to pinch myself that all this has really happened. I count my lucky stars that I can do a job I am so passionate about and hope that I continue to inspire others with my designs, making everyday a reason to live a colourful life.
